This one is for my co-workers. Whether we stay with the company or move on with another company or make a completely different decision, we are all connected. We will always be connected by this time together. But now there is an opportunity for all of us, to let go of what was. Yes, we had fun together and I know I stayed as long as I did because of the people that I worked with. But it’s time to move on. No, it will not be the same anywhere else we go….how could it? But it can be even better if you allow it.
Damn, time flies I remember when you posted that your job was being eliminated. Seems like months ago!
I know. We found out 2.5 months ago and now we’re on the downside with 2.5 months to go. It’s very weird to have such a long good-bye, and sad to continue saying it over and over again. Yesterday, I just said good-bye to my first Supervisor in the company. I’ve known her for 25 years.
Dear Jennifer, you always have such profound things to say. It is so true that we all come to a cross road where we have to just let go…
I am thinking of an old proverb: “Rolling stones don’t catch moss”. It’s time to roll again, perhaps into a completely different path.
Who knows what wonderful surprises waiting for you down the road…?
