I love to take pictures of mushrooms and moss.  I have a fascination with them because they remind me of stories I read when I was little. Fairies living among the mushrooms and flowers.  I love it when I find an old log that has moss growing all over it.  Then when you look closer, there are tiny mushrooms and other life growing in the moss.  The secrets of the forest can be revealed through your creativity.

When my son was young, we would bring nature inside by making a tableau for Christmas.  We’d use pine cones and acorns and pine needles and whatever else we could find.  Fairy kingdoms, Father Christmas or whatever struck our fancy would come to life on a table near the tree.  Taking pictures of moss and mushrooms reminds me of those times.

Here, then is your creativity prompt.  A mushroom among the leaves and acorns.  Do you turn it into a fairy world? Or do you take a nod from Attack of the Mushroom People and create a horrifying (or funny, depending on how you look at it,) world?
