So this week, I was thinking that the prompt I would use would go with the theme of the week: the call center closing. I even had a picture planned that showed the empty desks and chairs. But, now that’s it’s done and the center is closed, I’m just ready to move on. So instead of a picture this week, we’ll use the last line of a book. I like using last lines. The book is over, it’s closing, but the last line can lead to a new beginning…much like the closing of our call center leads to new beginnings for everyone.
I’ll be sharing what I create in my newsletter. I hope you’ll share with me as well. You can do that through the comments or share it online through your own post or website and then link back to this page so I can see what you’ve created. You can keep it to yourself too, but I hope you share. I’ll be sharing my pieces through my newsletter. If you are interested in seeing more, you can sign up below.
I had to laugh.. I am almost 66 and started a business . So God only knows what awaits me in 10 years!
She drove to the grocery store dressed a bit fancier than usual. Walking with her head high, she found him greeting people as he usually did… with that trusting smile. She knew the moment he saw her that she was finally ready to move on as her stomach started doing flip flops. She went up to him and said 7pm would be great. With that she left to go buy herself a fancy new dress and some dancing shoes.
It was time for a new song.
I’m 63 and looking forward to a second career in writing. I can’t imagine what I’ll do when I’m 76!
You’ll be amazed by what you do at 76!
