September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Can you talk like a pirate? This holiday keeps getting bigger and bigger. Last year Facebook allowed you to change the language on your posts to English (Pirate) so everything you wrote was translated into a fun Pirate version.

Here you’ll find party ideas, songs and popular words and phrases in Pirate speak. They even have this in German and Dutch. Better not call a German pirate a Küstenschiffer or you might find yourself being Kielholen.
By the time you read this post, I’ll be sitting on a beach in Florida practicing me Pirate speak. Aargh!
