I hope you enjoyed this little detour. It’s not my usual fare, but sometimes one needs a summer break for a day!
Very clever! Thanks for sharing and have a great summer!
Glad you liked it. Hope you enjoyed the music.
Enjoy our summer Jennifer! We are in Winter, although where I live in Brisbane the weather is quite mild. Although this week, I’ve actually felt a little chilly! Have Fun!!
I can’t say I’m sorry you’re in winter because it means I get to be in summer which is my favorite season! Stay warm, it will be summer for you soon enough. Too soon as far as I’m concerned!
I am so happy it’s already summer time as I am not a winter person at all. These songs were so cheerful and I enjoyed your post, Jennifer!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. Summer time is my favorite season and these songs make me happy.
Hey thanks … I enjoyed this little summer vacation. Btw, remember “Summer Nights” from Grease, and my fav of all time “Summertime” from … well, lots of people did it, from Janis Joplin to Ella Fitzgerald.
Oh yes, both Janis and Ella knew how to belt out a tune. I considered it but thought it didn’t quite go with the pep of the others. And I see Summer Nights as a wind down of summer song, not the wind up that I was looking for on the first day of summer. Thanks for stopping by Tomorrow!
Bangalore, (south India) where i live, generally isn’t as hot as other places, because of its high altitude. But previous two summers were comparatively hotter. This time, there was unusually lot of rain (the monsoon set in a bit early), so the summer was bearable.

Thanks for stopping by Pradeep. It’s so strange to think that monsoons are making the summer heat more bearable. Doesn’t it become humid and muggy?
I enjoyed this, Jen. We’ve just finished with our very hot summer and are getting ready to welcome the monsoons.
Cute post Jennifer. I love summer it is my favorite time.
Hey, why not? We all need a laugh these days.
