I’ve always loved Christmas Eve more than Christmas Day. There is something magical about it. As a child, I would press my nose to the window looking for a bright star or looking for Santa Claus. Numerous times, I would swear that I saw something.
Even now, Christmas Eve is special. I love how quiet it gets, as businesses close early and people are home, or visiting with friends and family or at church. That’s the time when I drive around to see the lights. And once home, it’s when I wrap presents. I like to sit by the light of the tree, watching Christmas movies while I wrap. And every once in a while….I might press my nose against the window as I look up at the sky. That’s the magic of Christmas Eve.
