You either get better or you get bitter.
It’s that simple. You either take what’s been dealt to you
and allow it to make you a better person or you
allow it to tear you down. The choice does not
belong to fate, it belongs to you.

When I read this quote, I immediately thought of Charlene. She made that choice. Her faith, her family, and her positive outlook lift her up out of bitterness. Her imagination, at times, frees her from the bed. And her attitude inspires so many people.
I often say now I don’t have any choice whether or not I have Parkinson’s,
but surrounding that non-choice is a million other choices that I can make.
Michael J. Fox
The above quote from Michael J. Fox was taken from an interview that he gave Belief.net about spirituality and optimism.
It is all about choice!
I love Michael J. Fox’s quote! Since we’ve had Netflix I’ve noticed him appearing in some great roles, portraying a person who has a neurological condition, and he is probably an even more exceptional actor than in his earlier days. Parkinson’s certainly hasn’t taken that away from him, and I for one am thankful that this would be among those million other choices he makes!
You are so right. He is an exceptional actor and I’m glad it’s one of the million other choices he makes!
Happiness is a choice! A positive mindset helps us deal with everything life brings us.
I agree it’s a choice. Sometimes easier for some to make than others depending on their circumstances.
