I love the movie The Hunt For Red October.  A young Alec Baldwin played Jack Ryan and Sean Connery as the defecting Russian sub Commander.  Tense sea battles, a satisfying ending, and a line that sticks in my head.  “You arrogant ass.  You’ve killed us!”  Now it’s your turn to use this line for a creativity prompt.

Andrei Bonovia says this line to his Captain Tupolev as a missile that they launched is now bearing down on their sub the Konovalov.  Cut to the explosion.

Why did this pop into my head recently?  Did you watch the Super Bowl Sunday night?  One of the commercials was for a new Jack Ryan series that will run on Amazon Prime.  It stars John Krasinski.  That’s enough to make me want to watch it.
