Oh, I thought we’d have some fun with this because Netflix often has fun with me. Have you ever gone into Netflix and had the categories all mixed up? Happens to me all the time which is why I want to have some fun with it in this creativity prompt. What happens when cartoons are horror?
No really. I want to know because I was flipping through the Netflix categories and came across the below. SciFi and Horror options like Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas and Kung Fu Panda 3. What are these horrible options? Then I started thinking what these movies would be like if they truly were Horror or Sci-Fi movies. Thought it would be fun for you to use this picture as a jumping off point for your story.

I simply can’t consume horror or violent cartoons. It’s viscerally upsetting!
It used to be something that I could do when I was young, but I can no longer read or watch horror.
Coraline actually had my stepson in tears when we watched it, hiding under the coffee table. When I was young my parents allowed me to watch horror, with the rule that I finish the movie (so I could see it all comes out okay). I didn’t expect it to scare him so much, and it did feel cruel forcing him to sit through it, but in the end I do think it was for the best. He refuses to ever watch it again still and that was like three or four years ago. haha
You’re such a cruel parent….lol. I used to love horror when I was young. Can’t do it anymore.
Something changed in me when I had my first baby. I just couldn’t handle it, I’m hoping when they grow older I can return to my old favs because as silly as it sounds horror films were a serious passion of mine.
It happened when I had my son. I loved reading horror. Give me a Stephen King novel and bedtime and I would be up all night to scared to put the book down, too scared to turn out the light! I loved it. But now, anything even remotely scary gives me horrific nightmares.
